The Mains Cables R Us & Longdog Audio Linear Power Supply for the Bushmaster DAC is now finished and available on my website here.

The design is based on the same 2 box psu that has won a Hi-Fi Choice 5 star award, 100's sold and a "must have" for improved sound quality. One of the only regulated linear power supply's that can be up-graded at point of sale or at a later date as funds allow. Up-grades include Furutech IEC inlet and fuse, kimber or pure silver DC cable and a wide range of improved mains leads although one is supplied as standard to get you started. The up-graded version of this power supply does bring often startling improvements based on existing customer feedback, Malcolm Steward wrote an article in this months Hi-Fi Choice about how to get the best out of the Squeezebox Touch, the article featured the best version of the MCRU/LDA squeezebox PSU and it was very highly commended. It is based on the same circuitry as the Bushmaster PSU.

The power supply has been designed with Stanley Beresford's input and features a grounding tag incorporated into the DC cable as Stan's DAC has a grounding/earthing point on the back panel. The output voltage has been optimized by extensive listening tests.

The PSU comes with a no quibble 30 day money back guarantee. The PSU is £195 plus shipping at cost using either UPS or RMSD, we also supply the PSU in 120V version and ship worldwide at cost, the supplied mains lead will have the correct plug fitted for your country (UK, Schuko, USA or Australian).

LDA + MCRU also have available a dual output PSU for customers who have 2 items that need powering by DC such as a DAC and a Squeezebox, housed in a single case the outputs can be from 4V up to 21V so can also power the Technics SL1200 as an example.
