Always loved music, good sound a fair bit of punch clarity and detail 
Spent my savings back in the late 80's on my first real Hifi (I though) and carried home some Harman Kardon (CD and amp) Nakamichi (tape) Infinity RS (speakers).
When the foam on my Infinity's went along, I went second hand for a speaker set until Infinity's where restored again. From that point on my interest and desire for exploring sound and equipment to come closer to "the real experience" have only increased.
And it has (surprisingly) brought me backwards in time to ever older stuff.... First I left the 2000 for th 1990's which I now abandon for 80's and 70's.
And those 30-40 year's old amp's brought me to this amazing forum Thank for all help and good ideas in advance to all "diyaudio"-members out there.
