I guess it's time to introduce myself.
I have been swapping hifi components for a while and most of the time I was disappointed by the small improvements and felt the whole hifi business was a scam.
When I was a kid I used to build my computers from scratch getting better performance for less money, so I thought "How hard can it be to build an amplifier? ".
Google led me to this forum, and I started building the Honey Badger.
Now I am hooked and have built a pre amp with lcduino, with d1/d2 stack that I turned active with the Salas dcb1 buffer. I also made two Audiokarma cnc phonostages.
At the moment I am building a dual Mono slewmaster.

As an electrician I have basic understanding of electronics, but not nearly enough to design anything myself. I want to give a big thanks to everyone sharing their knowledge and designs on this forum so that solder monkeys as myself can enjoy great DIY sound. :D
