I have built many a sub-box and various install/de-install/re-install in cars but always purchased home equipment. Less space constraints for home than auto!
I think my first project will be a full range BLH using a Fostex FE126. The enclosure Fostex lists with the speaker specs looks perfect and it sounds like it is a stellar performer.
