Finally, here are both preamps. It is visible which is which, blue discrete and black opamp based. I even gave them names xD. All the components are higher quality better suited for audio or long life. These are my first 2 projects all SMD based (except for a component or two which were easier to get in through hole version at the moment I was buying), it's much more fun doing SMD than through hole.
Rick, luckily the components we changed after the PCB was made all fit perfectly in the spot of the previous component for the discrete one, so kudos to you for working with that and making it actually work! The 2 big empty spots are the eliminated source caps. With the last circuit mods this PCB can be made ridiculously small. Now both are 22x22mm.
As I said Rick, can't thank you enough for helping me build these, and everyone who contributed and made effort in any way, regardless if the idea was used, I definitely learned stuff from it or made me aware of something.
