korg dw 8000 it loads and verify s bank, but no proper sounds

Hi all.
Its battery reads 3.1v so this is ok.
I have done all the factory resets.
I reload original sound banks and it loads and verify's ads saves ok ,with the green led showing progress.
When playing back there is a sort of distorted sound which is the same on all presets and its the same note on all off its keys.
I can play around with the distorted sound and get some nice sounds from it
At some point it did have a small amount of water go on pcb around the 3 hn613256p
.chips which I cleaned ok and were no damaged tracks etc

Any one able to help
