So looking at a 112 BW Artist. A quad of 6L6, pairs in Push Pull. So using the Heritage schematic because it looks correct from what I can see. All opamp pre with tube outputs. 3 of the 4 6L6's test bad on Dyna-jet. Took some measurements DC resistance of the output primary. Noticed that 2 of the readings read 100 ohm higher than the other parallel tube. 525 ohm versus 425. Then noticed that the schematic shows a 100 ohm screen resistor in 1 of the pairs circuit each. Why doesn't it use that in the other mate of the pair? seems like that would throw off the symmetry. Sure there is a valid reason.

Artist is not Heritage. Heritage is a VTX series model. Your Artist is a VT series. Heritage power tubes are cathode driven.

Customer service at Peavey will send you the proper Artist VT files if you ask them.

Transformers work on turns of wire, not resistance. Many transformers are simple wound. They wind half the winding, connect a center tap, then wind the rest over that. SO the inner turns are much shorter wire than the later ones. SO they will have higher resistance. This is very normal. Yes, many transformers are also wound with two pieces of wire at the same time so the resistance comes out even. Don't worry about that resistance.

They added 100 ohm resistors between tubes on each side for stability. If you want to add one for each tube, fine, but the existing circuit is to prevent unwanted interaction between the tubes.

Symmetry is still there, each side has a direct wired screen and a 100 ohm-ed screen.

I tried to post the Artist schematic, but this forum has a small file size limit. COntact Peavey.
