So, the story is: I saw the benjolin synth schematic (electro-music.com :: View topic - Benjolin schematics). For the exponential converter, it uses the old VCA chip SSM2164 and I did not see any complete VCO schematic that uses the modern alternative THAT2181. And this is how I started working on the VCO schematic in this post, partially also inspired by the YuSynth.net VCO.
I am posting this because it is a more or less complete schematic at the moment and somebody might need it (however, I've only simulated it yet) and - more importantly - I am a newbie in DIY modular synthesis and I am not sure if there are any obvious mistakes in it.
Last of all, I've got a more specific question - what would be the best way to add soft/hard sync functionality to it?
