Hey, all. So, i picked up this Viking RP61 tube preamp the other day for nothing, and was happy to find some nice sylvania and telefunkens inside!
It's a cool chassis, has that cool magic eye tube in it for signal strength, and i hear some folks turn these into guitar preamps.
What i think i want to do with it is turn it into a vintage style rack-mount tube mic preamp, with the addition of some XLR transformers and such. It already has one of the old-style switchcraft 4-pole mic inputs on it, and rca unbalanced in and out.
Anyways, was curious if anyone who had any tube mic preamp experience could give me some advice on what to convert this into! Always looking for suggestions!

Should be simple enough to make it into an unbalanced mic preamp, it even has cathode followers if needed.
Everything's already there except XLRs.
