Buzz from PA section
When I first received this amp from my buddy I was told that there was a 60hz buzz/hum. Piece of cake I thought at first. Bad filter cap. However that does not seem to be the case. After the amp has been on for 15+ minutes a very distinctive buzz is being generated INSIDE the amp. Not the speakers. A quick ear check on the speaker indicates no abnormal sound in the speaker. This is going to sound really strange but unless there is some strange acoustics going on inside the amp the buzz seems to be definitively coming coming form the PA heatsink, NOT the transformers.
Any comments?
