Bass guitar amp

Hello

I'm in the process of building a tube based bass guitar preamp and am happy with that progress.

I would like to use a Class D power amp, are there any considerations that i need to be aware of when using Class D for this purpose?

Also, any recommendations on kits fit for purpose would be useful.

Unlike guitar amps, there's not much special about the power section of a bass amp. Indeed, quite a few bass players use a power amp designed for PA to drive their rigs.

I'm just about to dive into a similar project, except I'm designing a JFET-based preamp.
