I didn't want to hi-jack flexagon's thread any more than I already had

so I started my own. I found this to be an interesting concept that is completely relevant for me as I have a home recording studio. I redrew the schematics with an 18v (2 - 9v batteries) power supply and based it on the 741 ic.

If it works (not expecting to much) I will redo it with a ac based power supply.

I am not positive that I have the numbers right on the caps and resistors on the power supply and was wondering if someone could take a quick look at it for me.

Power supply looks fine - although I'm still puzzled why anyone would want to deliberately ruin the quality of a recording?.

It's certainly not a DAT simulator, it's basically just a fuzz box followed by a simple low-pass filter.

Pretty much I just wanted something to do and it seemed an interesting idea. If it turns out to be a fuzz box then I will give it to my guitarist and let him have some fun with it.
