OTL Tube Headphone Amp Aikido White Cathode Follower 6SN7 6BX7
I needed a quick headphone Amp. Picked up a clone case from Epay along with a PCB. It's a simple build for some one just starting out. Or you can stuff it full of junk like I did. This one is set up for Sennheisers. It sounds quite nice.

Curious - what sized power supply are you using? Or SMPS?
My little headphone amps, can also be used to drive some high efficient loudspeakers.

Lampie519 - Nice "nuclear suitcase"
I am also currently building one in the enclosure of an old transistor measuring equipment.
I'm not figuring out whether I'll leave and repaint the existing front panel or make a new one from plexiglass maybe..may leave that transistor logo ...

Interested in the PCB
I'm very interested to build this to completion. Do you still have the PCB.
Anyone want a QRV08 PCB? with some components soldered?
I´ll send it for free.

CMOY-like OPA1688 based amp with some additional features:
+/- 5V regulated split supply from a single 9V battery
output relay
switchable gain, +6dB, +18dB
automatic shut down after 5 minutes absence of audio signal (saves a lot of batteries )
low battery indication
DC protection

My high speed HPA is almost complete.
White acrylic front panel - hard to work with ... cracks appear if done incorrectly.
VU meter in the middle (round push button to switch between visual effects)
two tumblers: HPA / PRE and INPUT 1/2.
Indication - lazy variant - I had ebay digital voltmeters - if you paint some segments black - the letters H and P come out if 8 V voltage.
I wanted to show the inputs with 1 and 2 V, but I didn't have such a bright voltmeter anymore. Input indicator - with 2 orange diodes representing 1 and 2.
Accordingly, a little 9V auxiliary transformer with its own regulator. Alps 50K pot.
of course still need to be cleaned, especially the back panel ..where all sorts of markings remain. The photo does not show it so well, but in reality well visible H and P..
