The 119DA is airgapped?
I know it is not a top line at all, but I do not think it is airgapped.

I build a Tubelabs SE. There is a forum here for him.

It can be configured for different DHT's. I use 45's but it supports 2A3 and 300b's too.

Had an output tx made by electraprint for my amp for cans.

I have a pair of hd800's and sounds good with them.

It isn't, my mistake. Quality really makes the difference here. If you are looking for cheap, then toroids can sometimes perform well keeping in mind they do have a number of limitations. Stay within their parameters and they can be quite rewarding. I also have a few Electraprint's that are very good.
