I take evening walks with my dog. Recently got a fitbit flyer and fitbit watch from work for a service award. I like the flyer, but not sure it worth what they are asking for it.

I also have a pair of Oontz Budz 2 that I've had for a while. They can be a bit boomy, but sound pretty good to me for the price, as their current price is really reasonable here in the states.

After a chat with the missus it's become clear that long standby time is more imporatant than actual sound quality so I'm probably just going to take an amazon gamble on something?

Well, I can tell you what not to use for workouts!
The Sennheiser Momentum 2 on ears have pretty good sound quality, but they will fall off your head if you shake it around and the earpads will soak up every drop of sweat.
I know from using them when I mow the lawn.
-that's a workout right?
