Reading the reviews on Amazon, I'd have a hard time spending 399€ on these. I'd rather get a pair of Sony wh-ch1000xm for that price.

They only mention a tactial transducer working in the outer area. I would suppose it might be a 2 way design with everything but bass funneled directly into the ear canal.
I already have 2 pairs of sony's.

There is a silicone slug thing that funnels sound directly into the ear canal.

I have a pair lying forgotten in the corner for nearly a year. I cannot find anything about these cans to recommend to anyone here.

So you have a pair of them? Did you not like them, to have forgotten about them?

To me they seemed like the story of the Emporer's new clothes, and I really fell for the sales trick.

The marketing and concept was really insulting in the set-up stage. The App "scans" your ear canal and makes some pretty shapes on the iPhone display. Then it "calculates" how to deliver sound to your unique ear scan.
To demonstrate, it plays a music track to show you how low quality your hearing of music has been before. This music is so obviously filtered. It sounds like you are 10m underwater.
Then it plays your new Nura experience, which sounds like any normal time when you are not underwater.

They brought nothing new to the table compared to lower level AKG or Grado cans.

After two months they would not charge more than 15%, would not connect to the App. I gave up, moved on and forgot them.

Yes, I was a complete baffoon and did not understand that the App was central to the concept.
I did order the optional anlalog cable to go with them, but it falls out of the socket if you turn your head.
