Yes! I've got a couple headamps brewing and might do the same thing. I have a bunch of heatsinks but no chassis for them. Thanks for the idea. I did something similar for a power amp several years ago:

Unfortunately, no. I am on East Coast. Hard to do for a hobby trip.
