I've modded my already modded OBH-11 to act as a preamp as well as headphone amp. It was simple mod and I'm sharing it here because I couldbt really find anyone who had done such a thing. This mod allows me to use my Creek as a stand alone products rather than wiring it in-line between the amp and pre or source and pre. I simply cut the positive leads on the RCA output and bent them up. I then wired the positive leads to the positive Right and Left outputs of VR1. It sounds great and because it's truly passive, it works when powered off.
