I just started an overdue project of LM1875 Triple Parallel. You know how you like the parallel JRC4580 / 4560 on your M-Audio sound card's headphone output jack? Well, my little project is like that, using the "biggest Little op-amp" to drive a 4 ohm speaker directly.
This is different than complex specialty power-op-amp products, since LM1875 is very basic and doesn't have noise generating limiters or rude clipping behavior.
The "regular" parallel is very easy (great for MTM!), but the Triple is more challenging, since typical assumptions get scaled up 3x, and I'd like to attempt more refined construction (not yet figured out).

Ending up with bridging those triples, this should do about 100w to a 4 ohm speaker. That's a pretty big job for a tiny op-amp.
lol! Is there a discrete amp that uses scads of tiny output devices like this?
