A couple of "rules" need to be established regarding "the nanook Analog group", but are really just rough guidelines.
No question is too "small". The intent is to open up discussion between folks who are interested, regardless of their time in the hobby or personal knowledge spinning the big black disks. One need not own fancy equipment or any with "boutique appeal" to welcome.
Jokes are fine (unless real "groaners"..Terry...). Personal attacks are not.
No sniping or obvious attempts at coercion . This is intended as a friendly spot to actual discuss design and implementation of all things turntable and tonearm related. Build notes, comments, etc. If interest is high perhaps sub-threads will be spawn from the main ones.
Almost anything related is open for discussion, but it would be best if tonearms were split from turntables, and sub-divisions for design, materials and implementation for each.
