LT4320 based active rectifier

Parts list for SMD board?

Hi,
I am new to this thread, and building the SMD version. Does anyone have a parts list for components they used successfully on the surface mount pcb?
I have been looking through thread and found a BOM for the TH version, but having a bit of trouble finding 1210 smd parts for all the values stated. I'll be using them at less than 30v.

Hello Wlowes,
Please find below the BoM.
Please note that there are many options for mosfets. Choose the best ones for your application as per the guidelines posted by tvicol posted towards the beginning of thread.

Also LED/its resistor are optional. Also optional are the quasimodo components CX/RS/CS.

Thanks. This is very clear.

I look forward to comparing this innovation to the existing super soft recovery diodes I use in my digital front end today.

Hello all ,
almost 70% deliveries completed.

Here is a concept/try out suggested by a kind gentleman-member. Instead of the "R", a simple cmx by gtose / mark johnson can be "diy-ed" like shown as a daughter board..

If anyone is interested, I will post the gerbers for the daughter board.

regards
Prasi

P.S. same board can also be used for negative rail by reversing cap orientation and PNP/NPN substitutions of transistors.;)

Hello Prasi,

do you refer to this list or ...?
SMD and THT rectifier only boards

tomtest: SMD: 10 pairs, THT 5 Pairs
wgh52: SMD 18 pairs, THT 16 pairs
randytsuch = SMD 2 pairs , THT 3 pairs
alazira: THT 6 pairs
grufti = SMD 4 pairs
Destroyer OS THT= 4 PAIRS
wlowes - SMD 3 pairs

Total : 37 pairs SMD , 34 pairs THT

LT4320 based CRC PSU PCBs

vvs07 = 4 nos.
randytsuch = 2 nos.
tubesguy = 2 nos.
windwardmt = 4 nos.
alazira = 2 nos
grufti = 2 nos
manniraj = 2 nos
Marcel S. = 6 nos.

total 24 nos.
I have not seen a PayPal Moneyrequest yet. (which may be OK...)

Thanks for an update,
Winfried

PS: Sorry, this is my first group buy participation... :eek:

Hi Prasi,

Since this PSU is using the ideal bridge rectifier (LT4320), do we really need to fill CS, CS1, RS, RS1 since there shouldn't be any transformer ringing with this design? Would CX, CX1 filter still be needed/recommended?

Happy New Year!

Do

Hello Do,
those just an option to try out. You may not populate them.

Hello all,
Hopefully everyone is back from holidays.
I have received the PCBs almost a week ago for the above GB.
I will start sending invoices today evening. If you havent sent me your paypal and address details , please do it as per your convenience.

Hi Prasi,

One tested and working properly. No bleeders yet but they will be added.

Thanks again for everything!

Hello Do,
Exemplary work!. I always , for myself , use sockets for 8 pin DIP opamps, that way I can use different opamps.
Here too, since LT4320 are somewhat premium, use of sockets would help in easy swap.
