Hi X,

I like this plan!
Like Zman says, Bring it on!

It will be usable as either a Preamp or as a Headphone Amp (HPA). Will give more details soon. But it would make the DBs very versatile and one can change the gain or the application as Preamp or HPA by making a new relatively cost-effective DB. Knowing this may or may not change your desired number of DBs.

Basically a neat integrated version of my preamp on a plank as seen below.

I like that idea a lot. Especially since I was thinking about using the boards as a preamp. Now need to decide if I want another pair.

I did not expect that there would be this much interest, actually.
Thanks everyone!

Actually, I am eagerly waiting your ALPH-M2 board.

Thanks for doing what you do!

Best,

Hi Poseidonsvoice,
Thanks for the kind words. Actually, I stopped working on an Alpha M2 board, proper due to development of the Melbourne, which, when slapped onto the M2X, and with the Edcor by-passed,, would be the same thing (or close to it). Although, if there is enough interest in an Alpha M2 JPS64 and I might have a go at it.
Regards,
X
