We shall update you with regard to the PCBs and the matched devices within the next week.
The aim is to ship those beginning of December.
So likely to call for payment before last week of November.
A separate GB thread will be created for the case GB.
This will require a pre-payment before the workshop can start machining.
It will not be run by the XEN team, but my our dear friend CeeVee. See post #40.
He can only do one GB at a time, starting with the smaller batch of F5X power amp first.
So the case GB is most likely to start in spring 2020.
Please keep an eye for the next days for further updates.
If you are no longer interested, please let us know so that we can give the chance to someone else.

Just to give you an update.
We placed order for 20 sets of F5X Pre PCBs today.
Each set consists of 25 pieces of PCBs of various sizes.
Also included is a pre-programmed MCU chip for the control board.
Because of the large size of some of the boards (>300mm), and the increased shipment cost,
we need to charge 1600 HKD including Paypal fees and registered air mail.
In parallel, we offer (optionally) a set of matched devices.
These are curve-tracer matched ( for both Vgs / Idss and Yfs ) from a pool of over 1000 devices with our own matching tools.
The latter is proven to be < 0.3% long term accurate.
A set include :
1 set NNNNPPPP Toshiba 2SK170BL/2SJ74BL (PJFET degenerated to match Yfs of NJFET)
1 set NNNN-PPPP Renesas (not old stock Hitachi) 2SK214/2SJ77
1 set NNPP 2SK3497/2SK618 for regulators
4 XEN Audio Type 0 JFET heatsinks
Price of PCB and FETs together is 5000 HKD including Paypal fees and registered air mail.
We ship FOB (ex-work), and are not responsible for losses.
If you wish to ship by Courier door to door, you pay for those extra.
We intend to ask for Payment beginning of December and ship by mid-December.
But if the majority wish to avoid the Xmas mail traffic, we are also happy to delay payment and shipment to beginning of January.
Please reconfirm interest, and whether PCBs only, or with FETs.
