Hi Ryan! Can you say, is it possible to avoid the current offset elements (TR1\C56\R32 and TR2\C57\R33) if to use your boards in differential mode with transformers?
I mean the following connection:

Have you tried that or not? Thank you!

BR, Ivan

Hi,

No I havnt tried using a transformer for my output stage. I believe Batteryman and Koldby have had experience with transformers, they would be able to give you some advice.

I'd say it would depend on the resistance of the coils. I've found that having DC on AOL and AOR has a negative impact on the SQ, but this is using the CEN passive IV, so it may have a different impact. Not sure. Sorry im not much help.

Thank you, Ryan.

Time to order some parts. Those 22uF acrylic metallized capacitors (C6, C14, C20) sure are pricey:

16MU226MD35750 Rubycon | Capacitors | DigiKey

And only available at Digi-Key, not stocked by Mouser.
