Well, I'm giving full use estimates. Truthfully many people won't hit it, and doing so doesn't cause any problems aside from audibility if you get too much saturation. The saturation isn't constant, either.

I'll try not to be too overwhelming with it. I know from when I'm trying to get answers and get convoluted replies for things, it can get old.
 
No worries.
It's just "once a year" at most *if* I decide to carry my 6 x 15" setup outside. Accounting for some losses and peripherals, I get to around 1kw total.

Better to calculate some headroom, If it's 1kw on peaks only and not constant, then everything should work well when built for 1kw constant load.
Most likely the total load will never be more than 150-250w max on transients.
