My V4H update

Time for an update from my original post in February (https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/317151-peeceebee-v4h-gb-72.html#post5691617). 2 months into daily listening and I haven't run into any stability issues and the V4H has continued to occupy my number 1 spot in my listening setup! Again, thank you for such a great amp Shaan!

I've also now completed the work on the front panel and handles for my V4H chassis and wanted to share some glamour shots. The front panel is made up of a 1/4" 6061 base plate which is used to mount the softstart and resistor and mount the front to the inner frame. To hide those screws, I milled out 3x 1/2" plates that are tapped from the rear. Then brass hardware and an engraved nameplate was added. The handles were milled out of 1" 6061 (quite a challenge on my hobby desktop CNC), tapped, and bolted on from the inside.

Only thing left to cut are the top and bottom covers and then move it to its spot on the shelf!

Awesome! I couldn't be happier to know the v4h topped for you! Happy listening.

And that frontplate is a looker! :D

Thanks i can buy them on Mouser. I don't like much the led light ,as before i was with tube gears i used 2, 24 v mini incandescent lamps in serie just to see a part of the filament glow threw a round lens . Never blow one. At home i have two linestra lamps in serie working just 40 years now.
