Use 4 modules for stereo?

True - but I was thinking more along the lines of how to best get a balanced signal through to a single amplifier module. I know that you can use powered solutions (e.g THAT modules, Neurochrome) or passive audio transformers/ pseudo balanced.

Just wondered what others have done...

I'm using a Jensen iso-max device (no cheap solution) between my balanced preamp and my unbalanced power amp.
No issue, works very well.

I can confirm the comparison of peeceebee vs FO 1.4M and FO 1.4L.Peeceebee is a better amp in low and mid low and much more stable...My best choice...FO is a great amp but peecebee is giant killer!!!

I got Fairchild KSE340/350 pairs from eBay. The 340s are short-legged
Any idea on how to mount it in this supposed config.?
Maybe I could raise them with 2mm aluminum?
How hot they get anyways?

The 340s look fishy. So be careful. They dissipate about a watt each under load so you may be able to mount them on the front and cool them with small heatsinks.

But the 340s do give me a bad feeling. The legs look wrong somehow, apart from the fact that these are cut off already!

Will make my install easier.

I have inspected 340s with magnifier and it is never installed and production short-legged for sure! Also it measures fine.
I have bought it from eBay but, reputable UK seller. I truly believe that this seller is legit.

Where do guys buy the ECX10N20 and ECX10P20? These transistors are not available in Mouser and Digikey. Ebay is one option but I don't trust the sellers.

I think you can but please note that I have never used them mounted on front with their own heatsinks, so cannot guarantee thermal stability this way.
