with reference to the McFifo, is it possible to program a different delay time for each channel ? (Do I understand correctly that the delay time can be continuous i.e. any time ? )

Thanks Arnolddew for the update. I'm glad that your are happy with FifoPi and my other audio gears. There will be still some rooms to upgrade the sound quality if you have nice low jitter XO clocks and better power supply.

So, I can use an USB Asio as XMOS...to be able to export I2S 768Khz and DSD Native to "1A. FifoPi Q2 768KHz I2S/DSD/DoP FIFO". Only connect 3-wire DATA/DSD1, BCLK/DCLK, RLCK/DSD2 from XMOS to J1 of 1A. It also work?

I need I2S/RJ/LJ output format and 16/24/32bit output. It's can update via your new firmware?

I use Raspberry Pi + Reciever Pi + FiFo Pi + ESS9038 DAC HAT + IVSTD board. When I use the TV as optical input in Receiver Pi I have an 25ms delay on audio (as in the audio comes after the image). Is there a way to manage this delay? The settings in the TV are not enough for this delay. Thanks!

Hello All,

I recently and impulsively bought the IAN CANADA 9038Q2MPI dual mono DAC, the ESSC Controller Extension Kit and the IVSTD Output stage module over at audiophonics.fr.

There is a dedicated PSU with batteries but it is unfortunately over my budget ATM.

Is there a cheaper alternative ?Maybe multiple regulated linear psu's with a transformer or something like that I could pick up on the Internet ?

You can use something from DIYINHK for a linear 3v3/5v supply. I think they have a supply that does both rails. Maybe 1A each. Then you'd need to find a bi-polar supply for the IV. You can use any 317/337 supply for this. I'm not sure, but DIYINHK might have this too. Thus, you don't have to use batteries for powering your Pi DAC.

You can use something from DIYINHK for a linear 3v3/5v supply. I think they have a supply that does both rails. Maybe 1A each. Then you'd need to find a bi-polar supply for the IV. You can use any 317/337 supply for this. I'm not sure, but DIYINHK might have this too. Thus, you don't have to use batteries for powering your Pi DAC.

They are optional, you don't need them for now.

You can try something down the road if somebody confirms the most optimized configurations or setup.
