Sonido TQWT

Hello.
I am big fun of fullrange speakers.
I have built several speakers, nosw I want to design enclosure using Hornresp fwith Sonido SWR145A or SFR145A.
Because my english skill,It difficult to understand how to use Hornresp
so I need help.
I have downloaded Hornresp and find looks very difficult to understand it!
From some read TL thread, I think inverse TQWT is good for low Qts and Low Vas driver like Sonido SWR145A.
If it is right way to start design TQWT using Hornresp,I will have confident
to start studying Hornresp.

For my small room,I need front mouse open TQWT.
Please give some suggestions and instructions for novice.
Thank you.

Hi,
Sonido gives applications to this drivers. Please, for example, for SFR 145/A this is a horn structure and SWR 145/A it is a bass reflex.
If you are interested in other designs, I am happy to give advice and instructions.
Please email me : info@sonido.hu

Thank you for posting box design.
I have been studying TL box using Hornresp on MJK facebook group.
But have not got good design yet.
I will consider bass reflex or BLH design too.

Considering what do you like bass sound TL, I can also recommend these cabinets for SWR 175/A drivers.

I think swr145a is for my near field listening.
Just for my practice,I designed ported TL.
Please give me suggestions...

Hornresp gives a good result in the horn design. But if you use full-range speakers in the TL, TQWP and in the loaded horn, then the sound comes from 2 sources:
-mid and high frequencies directly from the speakers cone and
-low from the horn.
And they are summed in the air. The Hornresp program does not take this into account, so we get inaccurate calculations.
I can recommend the software AJ horn (Germany).

I’d try to increase the damping. The bump up at the bottom should be slower and gentler.
Thank you for guidance.

Thank you for recommendation.
I will try AJ horn.
For small room near listening, I will stick on SWR145A.
I would compare with bass reflex.
I found a little difference between bass reflex box in official website and which you showed.
Website one is slightly larger around 12L and 10L box in this thread.
I wonder how it different in sound.

Hornresp takes both sources into account. Quote from their user manual:

"For a finite damped transmission line enclosure loudspeaker system, the
Combined output option combines the transmission line acoustical power
output with the direct radiator acoustical power output."

I am not sure it have dumped more,I think better design than before and I filled in the middle.
Less spl in at low-end though.
