I saw this on craigslist Vintage 1962 DIY Speaker - electronics - by owner - sale It looks like it's a coax or maybe a full range with a big whizzer in a blh - maybe? I don't think the seller has a clue but I haven't called him. Don't know if I'd be interested or not (definitely not for $95) but just curious. Any of you know what this is?

It looks like a kit version of the Electro-Voice Aristocrat. If it was built with an EV driver, it is probably worth more than the $95. It is worth the $95 with any decent coaxial speaker of the day.

Since it has the L-Pad/Brilliance adjustment, it's bound to have/had the supertweeter mounted in that rectangle beside the woofer.

This forum is amazing. Thanks for the links doctor and good eye tsmith. I didn't notice that rectangle. If it's a coax, with or without a super tweeter, and he says it doesn't work then the problem is probably in the wiring or crossover and not the driver(s) so my "definitely" has changed to maybe. That's about an hour drive from me but I've never had a corner horn.
