I know it is not DIY but may be of interest for some inspiration for a different full range enclosure.
Ceramic enclosure, downward facing port (think inverted tear drop) and looks like it uses a Seas L12RE/XFC coax driver in a 4.5l cab with a 65Hz floor (Fx point not provided). Also integrated with a streamer and Class D amp. Limited edition (500 sets I think) hence price ?????

ceramic vases on tripod stands...certainly not kid or pet friendly... a lot of pottery shards i see...
and anyone who's got alien robot fears are out...
on a more existential plane they look like upside down bongs on camping chairs...think i seen something like that at a music festival, problem is, which one?
are dremel bits good for ceramic and if so which ones, i think i may try that with an old set of table lamps!
