Best Full-Range 4" with Passive Radiators?

One more thing and regarding the amp, which one would you recommend for the Alpair 6 or the RS100?

ALPAIR 6 RMS is 15W MAX is 30W
RS100 RMS is 30W MAX is 60W

I suppose that a mono AMP with 60W would work well?

Using a single Dayton ND91-8 in a 1.5-1.8 litre box with two opposed 3.5" peerless passive radiators (to help stop vibrations and the speaker jumping around) will get you down to mid 60s with no eq required.

Power ratings are near meaningless. There are no standards by which to measure them and 2 brands can have quite different numbers and yet be the same. Best to ignore them.

We recommend a minimum of 10w for the Alpair 6… it has an arrestor built in the will audiably tell you when to turn it down… more power is usually better than too little but there are lots of other factors that are important.

What Dave said. Whatever driver you go for, forget the RMS values. All they really tell you is the point at which the voice coil will fry. They'll have reached their mechanical excursion limits in any box you're likely to use at a fraction of that, unless you electrically cut output < tuning.

The dynavox ly401f is also worth a look, it has a low fs of 53.5 hz and a qts of 26. I chose to tune a 0.138 cu. ft. (3.9 l) box low, to about 40 hz. It works very well with a little eq on the bass in a smaller room, to be flat. The low response limit is around 34hz.
