It really does a great job for music for me. Its small size is not indicative of its ability. It's small, plus it's affordable.

I brought my Lances to the office today, and maybe I just don't need the sub after all. For the low volume I can use it won't make a difference. I can just turn on the bass boost that my amp can provide. The Voxel does look tempting for a different use though in my house.

Yup that 85 works quite well in nearfield - I have them at home and work with Topping TP30, and a saved EQ setting on iTunes Player

I had a chance to crank 'em up in my office yesterday. Everybody that was still around was impressed. Definitely don't need the sub.

Thanks!!

The Lance have been the main speaker of my system since the plans were released...I've also tried the FF85WK in the FHLite...although there are some noticeable improvements going to the FH design...the one drawback is that I find that it's easier blending in my sub with the Lance...

My sub only has inputs...I run high level...at some point in time if I change out my sub to one that can accommodate both inputs\outputs as well as a higher xover frequency...I'll have a better opportunity to compare...

Simply put...the Lance can do a lot if one's willing to just sit back and enjoy
