Default Hey I'm planing on making a boom box but have no idea where to start

I have a old iPod dock thats all taken apart and I was wandering if I could use the speakers to make a boombox and what I would need for this project?

Your best bet would be to build boxes similar in size to the box these were mounted in. Take the measurements of the old box and vent and build something close.
To come up with anything "scientific" you'll need the T/S parameters. Is there a model number and possibly manufacturer anywhere on the speaker?
Being a boombox, however, I'm assuming you won't be doing any critical listening to it, so "scientific" shouldn't be an issue.
