FR and distortion are in essence innate to the drive unit, except in the LF. Since the Frugels are boundary-loaded / corner horn designs, the specific loads vary somewhat with the room acoustic & the precise enclosure positions. That's why we don't provide anechoic measurements of boundary-loaded horns: they'd be more or less meaningless since the entire final part of the horn expansion is missing.

Hello guys, recently I have purchased diy cabinets with Alpair 12P. These are Pensils, the small ones but with extra bracings. Such a great drivers, so many details, however the quality of the cabinets is just so so... so I am wondering about making some new cabs 
it's been 8 years - if I'm not mistaken - since the drivers were manufactured... maybe there is something more interesting than Pensils these days?
