So far I have decided to go with dimensions of 45cm wide x 120cm tall. That seemed as good a number as any. I could have gone with 42cm but I will incorporate that number in the design later on somehow. I don't want an anti-climax so it is not good incorporating that number too early in the design stage

All will be revealed soon. I will be incorporating the Seas FR driver in this design. I will be playing around with every dumb idea possible and taking measurements along the way.
It is hard for a dumb person to understand the ways of smart people, and yea I am a man of lttle faith (and 1.5 brain cells). So this will be dumbness meets myth busters.

Seas Break In
One Seas FA22RCZ was broken in using 10Vpk Sine Wave swept from 30Hz to 45Hz.
Looks like things have stabilised. I will give it another 24hrs to be sure.
Once I have built up the baffle I will see if I can hear the difference between the broken-in driver and a new one out of the box.
Hopefully have all the wood cut by tomorrow.
Then repeat the break in process for the new one.

What are you using to do the T/S measurements? I've always used Speaker Workshop, but recently measured some new 4" drivers and the FS (and other params) were way off. I ended up trying with REW and got completely different results that were very close to manufactures specs.
I'll have to measure the impedance of my tweeters again. I'd always been a bit disappointed that their fs seemed to be about 200Hz higher than it should have been. I suspect that SW gives inaccurate results for speakers with very light diaphragms.

I have my own program at work that was done in Matlab, but I am using Dayton DATS at home, so people can easily compare results if they have the same gear.
Edit: The TS Parameters change significantly with signal strength, and the drivers need to be broken in.

You know how easily tempted by that remark - but we have already done damage to Chris and out of consideration of not having to send him off to mental vision re-hab I'm gonna pass on this one.
Do not make the mistake of my being kind as a sign of smartness tho because I am still a big Dummy!
For example - every time someone mentions "one meter" this or "two meters that" I keep looking around to see how many meters I have around the shop. I have a gas meter outside - a digital multimeter on the bench - let's see - what else iz around here.
