I understand a lot of it will deal with excursion.
With a 1.7L sealed chamber behind them there will be minimal excursion and about a 2nd order acoustic roll off.
This should give me about -16db at resonant frequency.
My main concern here will be the voice coil power handling with the low frequencies virtually gone.
