Thank you jon,
It is a possibility that I could move the screen back a bit to avoid losing the speakers behind it! Worth knowing.

Anyhow, my mind has drifted to thoughts of building something with a little more bottom end for the listening position shown - Lotus or Lotus ^ 2. It is fun, this speaker building malarkey! Where should I direct a few questions please?
Thanks to all here for so much inspiration.

How about the FH-XL? With a suitable driver that design is capable of providing plenty of low end oomph.

Thanks zman, it's an idea, I must admit. I will give it some thought, thanks.

my favorite in the XL would probably be the A10.3 - no, maybe the A10P?

Thanks chrisb.

id like to say something of the damping / polyfil for the front of the cabinet ,under the driver ....... by all means install it and try it , then rip it out and adjust the bass by moving the cabinet in or out . this is with the FH mk3 with the mark audio A10p driver. you wont be sorry!!!!!

I hope so, or that's going to get very interesting, very quickly. :D

I'd say that the FHXL would be good here, should be easier than building the Lotus as well, although I always like to see some of Scott's larger designs get built :)
