I've built my fostex fe107e (shielded version of fe103e) in fe103e recommended backloaded horn enclosure .
I use CMC binding post and wireworld as internal wiring. And i use spike on my enclosure. Driving by DIY JE LAB 300B single ended monoblock. For me the sound was very pleasing, the high is detail and transparent enought, the mid is warm and wonderful (as 4") the low is tight . The bass is not booming at all. Fostex is wonderful driver for me. I need comment from anyone who ever build this fe107 with BLH enclosure. Any tweak ??? |
