Attaching pictures

For some reason I cannot attach pictures. I follow the usual procedure and get as far as it saying the pics uploading but then times out whilst saying "waiting for diyaudio". Advice please.

I've found that happening when I tried to upload images that were bigger than the max size allowed.

Once we migrate to XenForo I'll be aiming to use Amazon S3 for storage and essentially remove all (unreasonable) size restrictions on images (and video). I can't wait, and I'm sure neither can most of you guys Coming soon..

Strange that I had no problems back in Sept. 2018.

For posting on the web and forums like this, a image no larger than 1300 pixels wide is recommended. Medium quality jpeg is a good setting for photos, use png for charts and graphs. That should keep your images under 150K and make for fast loading and easy viewing.

I use Flickr to host my pictures then link to them.
