I saw the thread
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/powe...or-replacement-sic-rectifier.html#post5348261
and wanted to be informed of these semiconductors.

The search for "GaN transistor" in parentheses turns out with no result:
"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "

Search without parentheses is useless. But as you see in the thread title
the phrase was used in the forum. "GaN" alone will give no result either.

What is going on ? Thanks.

PS "SiC transistor" search works ..

Search on 3-letter words is often goofy.

Try Google "GaN transistor site:diyaudio.com". This uses Google's mighty powers (perhaps greater than DIYA's Google add-on) restricted to the site diyaudio.com

GaN transistor site:diyaudio.com - Google Search

However the hits are still goofy. Partly because GaN fans do not always say transistor. And "gan" can appear as part-match in many words.
