ok I got a working but used python car alarm
I hooked up the wrong (not main) ground wire then I hooked up the power whoops! ![]() the siren went off very quietly by the time I figured it out and hooked up the real ground it didn't work anymore ![]() is this thing repairable or is it another in a string of lessons A.K.A. spare parts ![]() there is no visible damage I'm thinking shorted I.C. or transistor does anyone know how to test these? if anyone is interested I will post the part numbers on the IC's and transistors |

ok I looked up the numbers off the IC's and transistors
but couldn't find any information I don't know if they are part #s the 28 pin # is DEI63T A426K0894 the 16 pin # is M'SIA 0413U ULN2003A 1 transistor is K A1046 Y 423 there is an NEC D882 and a cube with OEG MCL-112D2H I was trying to price these to see if it's worth fixing all I can do is replace parts other than simple tests I am lost if no one thinks it's worth the effort to repair I may give up and buy another brain box |
