Once in a while you find smart new ideas, with user friendliness in focus.

One such good smart idea you can find in this
Cambridge Audio Budget Amplifier: Cambridge Audio Azur 340A

Have a look at this picture of the REAR ( behind ) of Azur 340A:

Notice the labels, text for each connection ;)
I think anybody of you knows why this is user friendly ........

Besides,
Cambridge Audio Azur 340A is a very high quality budget amplifier.
Compared to the price, you get a good dead weight (in Kg, Lbs) for your money.

:clown: You think I am joking, don't you! :clown:
But it is not as much of a joke as you may think.

Because if a traditional amplifier (not Class-D) is light weight
it can not have:
1. Very Big Transformer = powerful supply
2. Very Big HeatSink
3. Stable Rigid Chassis
4. Very good mechanical Damping = light will more easy vibrations

The heavy part in an Amplifier with Good Power Supply is TRANSFORMER.

Azur 340A weighs 6.2kg (13.6Lbs).
This is a good high weight value for a 2x40 Watt at only £150 of an amplifier.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

 No wonder this cool english budget amplifier has got very good reviews:cool:

PS. You can get Azur 340SE, Special Edition, for £200.
But I think 5 extra watt at +£50 is not worth the money. DS.
