Only 234 posts to go - well, I made it 233
until 100.000

Probably will take place tomorrow.

And why not disable the frontpage counter "97766"
for awhile to avoid cheaters.
And announce this competition/lottery!

Why not Nelson donate an old Pass Amplifier Kit
as 1st Prize to the poster of #100.000.
He probably has some unused stuff
in a dark corner of his house.

I wouldn't mind getting it!

/halojoy - the competitor

well, I like to compete
but I also like others to win

now 100.104 - who wrote the #100.000
as we do not know
I guess it was me, myself
probability is high, don't you think?

500 posts/month
this time next year I have written 12x500+840=
6840 posts

If GOD lets me live that long
I have to take one day at the time

Hello my fellow member - Jason

A bit of www.diyAudio.com HISTORY

AudioFreak said:
I can happily report that we have officially cracked the 100,000 post mark at diyAudio... as it happens, the winner was Nelson Pass with this post.
What could be more fair?
Congratulations Nelson!

(even if you do not write those Haikkus any more to honor me, gromanswe)
-------------------------

I took me some time to go back to those first days
of diyAudio.com.
The days before Nelson Pass!
I read those old threads - when there was only one Forum.
No Everything Else or Loudspeakers or Pass.

Suddenly one day, as two guys discussed some modifications
to an amplifier made by Pass,
they get an answering post from Mister Nelson Pass himself!

They get somewhat of a shock. Start feeling guilty
about publishing/changing/using his circuit designs.
Nelson doesn't mind.
He is interested in, if these guys can make his circuit even better.
The guys spend several posts just thanking the Master... LOL
--------------------------------

Well, those were the days, when the forum was young.
This site of Jason, would certainly not be as successful
without this special member joining the Forum.
A man called Nelson Pass.

Now, it is like this:
Both the Forum and Pass Labs benefits.
The name Pass wouldn't be what it is today
without all the DIY-selvers - speading the word.
You can see it as FREE advertising, if you like.
-----------------------------------------------------------

That is what me, gromanswe/halojoy, has reached
as my conclusion.

/halojoy - do NOT underestimate his conclusions!

How long before 200.000

I have to aim to be 200.000th poster.
As Nelson did the 100.000th.
Next 100.000 will not take nearly as long.
I wonder how many posts there are in one day, now.
We should be able to estimate when next 100.000 is passed.

/halo - doing his best to increase forum stats

I wish you were around more often, Jason.

Can not help thinking you should.
