Hans, I received the new 4mm zip cord cable.
I purchased 10m and cut it in half, so 5m has:
275pF, 0,065Ohms, 27H
(for R and L the ends were connected)

Regards, Boris

Edit: I just measured the length - I ordered 10m and received 8m...
It's therefore 2x 4m ...

What a fraud to sell 10m but only deliver 8m.
However, I think you inductance must be 2.7uF instead of 27UF.

Hans, here are my new measurements:
C= 270pF
R= 0,045Ohm
L= 3,8H

Ill come with a fresh calculation for you.
Still a bit puzzled why the inductance value was so far off in your first attempt ?
But this time everything seems perfectly o.k.

I have an old but precise Phillips RCL meter (4-wire measurement).
It has settings for Cs/ Ls and Cp/ Lp (series/ parallel / capacitance/ inductance).
The last time I accidentally choose Lp instead of Ls, hence the higher value.

Hi Boris,
Dividing the cable in 4 equal section, at the 3 points intermediate points, you will need to connect in series at each point between the two conductors:

0.45nH >5 Amp
8R >20Watt low inductance
35nF polypropylene >40Volt AC

This will give you a cable with Zo=6R in the audio range.
Anxious to hear what this will bring to your sound perception.

Thanks a lot, Hans. I will try it out as soon as I have the parts.
I thing I will make the 0,45nH Inductor by winding a couple of turns of 1,5mm solid wire on a stick. I'm exited about what it will bring...
