Psychoacoustics - Stereo perception

Does anyone know if we are more or less sensitive to stereo imaging in certain frequency ranges?

I've been looking for research papers but my google skills are failing me.

You could test this for yourself if you have some audio editing skills - or wish to learn them.

Below 2kHz it is phase-depending, above magnitude-depending.
Distance between ears positioned on the left and right side of the processing unit.
Up-down is not developped, front-back to some limit.

But stereo (L-R) perception is not real psychoacoustics, it is mostly L-R time differencies.

Real psychoacoustics is what Aphex does, and Bob Orban's Optimod processors.
