Does anyone know how to use a power mosfet with a NE555 in order to make a 12V rechargeable power drill work? Mine just had a short and quit its job, but motor and battery are still ok.
I want to use a NE555 as a pulse generator with speed control, and an IRFB31N20 MOSFET to drive the electric motor. That MOSFET has the most Ampere handling and "small" size that I could find... I also want to include a switch to reverse polarity on the motor.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
