Bought 1000 100nf caps from Ali Express.
One of them only has one leg.

The last one I got like that was in 1981 from Maplin electronics, it was a polyester liquorice allsort type.

I miss the liquorice allsort caps they added a bit of colour to a pcb.
I don't see many polysytrene caps much now either.
I remember many years ago seeing a picture of a capacitor where the two leads formed a continuous u-shaped loop. Clearly the end had not been cut off. The unusual thing about this was that manufacturer claimed 100% component testing in the factory.
Did they say the components actually passed the testing?
