L' audiophile... one of the reasons I wanted to understand French.

Guys that looked at what was happening, what was available and best suited for audio then and how it could be executed the way they thought was best. I am pretty sure these guys would today be into the developments that happen now with parts that are available now and how to execute best (and not stare at the past). Maybe 15 or even 20 years ago I found it already hard to find the parts for Le Monstre.

are not possible to translate in other languages due the format of files - I think the format is .jpg.
Maybe there is anywhere an other link with the same articles, but in text file like PDF or DOC

It's a bit of work, but not overwhelming and certainly less than learning French :). Crop separate columns of text as image files and offer those to Google translate. If the scan quality is poor, adjustments in contrast may also be required.

Alternatively, i believe quite a few OCR programs are capable of dealing with columns of text mixed with graphics.
