Ultrasonic Parts cleaner... DIY???

Ok I'm watching TV the other night and I see the new Tide ultrasonic stain remover. This got me to thinking and reminded me about the industrial parts cleaners used in automotive work and what not.
(Jay Leno has one in his garage... )

My question is does any body think that this is an acheveable DIY project.

Nothing too crazy just a small 1-2 gallon table top cleaner like shown here...

Sounds like a good idea
I once knew someone who made ultrasonic descalers for dentists. I seem to remember his small-scale ones needed about 20w of power to work.
Luckily safety has moved forward since those times when he assembled them on his kitchen table!
